“Totally Worth It” - Kapiti Ice Cream
The team at Colenso BBDO Auckland (New Zealand) have come up with this little gem for their client Kapiti Ice Cream (Fonterra New Zealand).
The good natured TVC revolves around a single shopping session in the day of the life of one Isobel James a young lady whom, we are led to believe, is a very ‘frugal’ shopper indeed. At the end of a determined skirmish into retail climes she is ‘obviously’ quite deserving of a special treat having readily demonstrated an ability to smell out a sale at a 100 metres, if not further away and has made many economically sound (to herself) purchases.
The ‘treat’ is of course, a wonderful Kapiti Ice Cream. What could be better? Undaunted by the prospect of transporting her reward (along with all her other shopping purchases), to the nearby park, she finally spreads herself on a convenient bench and enjoys her Kapiti ice cream which, we have been told, she uncharacteristically paid
‘full price!’ Obviously, one doesn’t cut corners
where quality treats are concerned!
The whole delightful story was directed by Gaysorn Thavat (Robbers Dog -Auckland, New Zealand) who again demonstrates her characteristic touch, attention to detail and ability to get the best result from her productions - watch this director!
And, by the way, the ice cream is delicious!
