I wasn’t really sure if anyone would be slightly interested in reading my graphic story, after all it was only something I doodled away at on the odd slow day. How wrong I was! I’m being continually asked what’s going to happen next between the young pilot and the landgirl, not to forget that (equally young) snooping enemy overhead. I’ve created a whole lot of new frames. The ‘story’ which started out as a ‘boy’s own’ type adventure now seems to be developing into something with Mills & Boon overtones (heaven forbid!). To return to the ‘story’, simply click on our couple to the right. For first time viewers, I know they look dead boring in their rather formal first meeting but be informed that it’s set in 1940 and the bloke’s just walked away from a spectacular air crash while she’s been frantically galloping across a field on a particularly large horse, so frankly they’re both rather ‘expended’ at this moment. For those already familiar with the story, you will note the absence of the aforementioned large horse in from this important scene (she should be holding the horse’s reins), however “Dobbin” with his lumbering great size wouldn’t fit here so he’s been excluded - call it artist’s licence! (Sorry if I’ve upset the purists!) Anyhow, the story continues - read on.....
